Travelers arrive into Havana throughout the day. A representative of WAI will be on hand at the airport to greet you and arrange transportation to our hotel in Havana. Because travelers arrive at different times, we may need to “batch” arrivals into shuttles to the hotel. This may require that you wait until the next group of travelers arrives and the shuttle is ready to depart. No group activities are planned today but your WAI guides will have some suggestions for you to consider during your free time today.
We arrived at the José Martí International Airport, and an individual identified himself and we took his taxi to the hotel. For some inexplicable reason, I took no pictures at the airport, or on the way from the airport to the hotel.
